The hospital demonstrates community commitment through wellness events, health education programs, and financial assistance initiatives. In 2023, Physicians Regional Medical Center delivered over 460,000 patient encounters and provided significant uncompensated care, ensuring medical accessibility for all residents regardless of their economic circumstances.
The State of Florida granted a Certificate of Need (CON) to build the hospital in 2005. Construction began on September 8, 2005, and on February 5, 2007, they began accepting patients and providing critical medical services to East Naples and surrounding communities.

With over 10,000 square feet of classroom and office space, the Naples campus combines college-level teaching with hands-on clinical experience in a hospital setting, preparing nursing students for the demands of modern healthcare.
